Halloween is a fantastic time for spooky costumes, sweet treats, and making memories with family and friends. We want everyone to enjoy the celebrations safely and responsibly.

While most people are out having harmless fun, we do sometimes see an increase in anti-social behaviour (ASB), including: 🎃 Knocking on doors and running away 🎃 Throwing eggs, flour, or other items 🎃 Damaging property 🎃 Causing unnecessary noise or disturbance

Remember, what may seem like a prank can be upsetting, frightening, or costly for others.

✅ Be respectful of your neighbours ✅ Stay with friends and stick to well-lit areas ✅ Look out for younger trick-or-treaters ✅ Take your litter home ✅ Report any concerns or ASB to the police via 101 or online. In an emergency, always call 999.

A good rule of thumb for residents: if you don't wish to receive trick-or-treaters, displaying a sign or keeping your porch light off can help indicate this.
